Sew many quilts, sew little time...

As we gear up for our annual Quilt Minnesota 2021 it seems like time is just flying by.   Our days are spent preparing for an exciting and wonderful Shop Hop 2021.  We look forward to seeing our regular customers and welcoming quilters from all over the state.

We have also been busy working on our fall class line-up and are looking for some new instructors.  If you would like to share your love of quilting with others please contact us to discuss teaching opportunities.   E-mail Diana at quilt@affinityforquilts.com to set up a time to chat.

The new Villa Rosa patterns have arrived to inspire your next quilt.  Which one are you going to make?
Our newest Quilt Minnesota sample is pieced and ready to be quilted.  Winter Stitch was designed by Blue Bear Quilts and features the large state panel as well as the small block panels.  The quilt measures 63" x 77".
We have a couple of other new samples to share with you this week too.

The Pretty Petals runner is from Whirligig Designs and features the Sunset Blooms collection from Island Batik.  This project measures 18" x 48".  Kits are available for $36.99.
Rustic Refuge was designed by Laureen Smith and features the Nature's Calling line from Northcott Fabrics. This quilt is perfect for the cabin or camper and measures 75" x 78".  Kits are available for $129.99.
The fall fabric and holiday lines are beginning to arrive.

Maywood Studio brings us Sweater Weather by Kris Lammers.  This line invites us to embrace everything we love about fall, from gathering decorations for the porch to visiting farm stands and pumpkin patches. Vibrant colors of changing leaves make the ideal palette for a snuggly new quilt, a good book, and a hot cup of cinnamon-spiced tea.

Cozy & Magical, designed by Maureen Cracknell for Art Gallery Fabrics, celebrates cherished traditions like decorating the tree with twinkling ornaments, wrapping presents, and cozy sweaters. These whimsical prints have everything you need to make holiday sewing magical.

Tip of the Week

Affinity For Quilts Tip of the Week:  Keep a water bottle with the pull on cap next to your ironing board.  Less messy for refilling your iron.
