New Atkinson Design Quilt Kit!

Posted by Diana Wendorf on

The weather gods are smiling upon us with our beautiful weather.  It is perfect weather for getting out and about.  However, it does not sound like it is here to stay!

I encourage all of our customers to take advantage of the All Minnesota Shop Hop Sunday hours, April 16, 2023!  Affinity For Quilts is part of the East Central Region and we will be open from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.  We look forward to seeing you!

We still have openings for The
Laura Heine Teeny Tiny Collage Class on April 29th.  This class was rescheduled from the original April 1st date because of a snow storm.   Some of the students had a conflict with the new date which has left us with open spots.  If you are interested in signing up for this class call the shop, or stop in, to reserve your spot!  The next class will take place July 15, 2023.

It is Villa Rosa time!  The new patterns have arrived and there are definitely a couple that are peaking my interest for a project.
We all have that piece of fabric in our collection that we don't want to cut into small pieces and are waiting for the perfect project that will showcase the fabric's beauty.  Well, I have the perfect table runner pattern for that fabric!  The Knotted Runner measures 20-1/2 x 40-1/2 and was designed by The Fabric Addict.   The fabric used in our sample is from the Taste of the Season collection from Michael Miller.  Limited kits are available for $33.99.   Kit does include pattern.
Do you enjoy projects where you use almost all the fabric purchased for that project?  If so, the Monorail table runner from Atkinson Designs is the perfect pattern for you.  The table runner pattern uses the remaining fabric from the top as a pieced backing for your runner.   For our sample we used A Summer Tale from Phoebe Fabrics.  The runner measures 13" x 40" and limited kits are available for $36.99.   Kit does include pattern.
Wild Blossoms by Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics is like taking a stroll through a thriving field of flourishing florals.  Wild Blossoms is a gorgeous collection of fabrics decorated with beautiful designs of fabulous floral and geometric patterns all paired with charming colors that remind you of the summer colors that will soon be coming.
If you are unable find an item you are looking for, talk to any Affinity For Quilts team member and we will do our best to order it for you.  We wish we could carry all of the items for your quilting needs, but some things need to be special ordered.
